2369: Allen Sagewell visits the terraformed asteroid earthship Aurora on an anthropological expedition. Aurora is a neopastoral earthship—one of the five remaining earthships post-collapse—where inhabitants live an analog lifestyle peppered with far-future elements. Genderless garb is one of the hallmarks of this group of people. The inhabitants' relationship to gender, among other things, is...expansive. Sagewell hopes that these images of the Aurorans, including one of Aurora themself, will serve as educational to many in the years to come.
